Don’t ever use a percolator to make coffee. Percolators are the worst way to make coffee. No true appreciator of coffee would ever use an old fashioned percolator - or so we’ve heard. The theory of the so-called ‘coffee experts’ is that the water temperature which reaches boiling point; is too high, resulting in the over-extraction of the grounds.
