Good Performance but Cheaply Made
A month ago I reviewed the Task Force 2000 Electric Pressure Washer. I was so caught up with how useful and powerful an electric power washer can be, that I didn’t give much consideration to its build quality and durability. The Task Force Electric Pressure Washer is proving to be less than sturdy. In less than a month, the power washer now fails to dispense detergent.

and has a broken cord reel. Read the rest of this entry

Before and After using Behr 992 to Strip Driveway Paint
Driveway Picture
To the right, is a picture of my driveway after using Behr 992 Paint Stripper. To the right, is also exactly how my driveway looked before using Behr 992 Paint Stripper. As fast as my cement driveway Behr 800 Stain was peeling, I was just certain that all my driveway needed was a little paint remover to help it along. I figured that the Behr 992 paint stripper should have no probablem removing the shoddy Behr Stain Job I did last fall. Read the rest of this entry

Task Force Pressure Washer Review
Task Force Pressure Washer: Electric
Pressure Washer Electric
If you have a house, but don't have an electric pressure washer, chances are good that your house doesn't look as new and clean as it could. The chances are equally good that you have some things around your house, such as - say, automobiles, that could also stand to be a bit cleaner. Have you ever been told to Power Wash something and wondered what the heck it meant? I sure did, until a former neighbor of mine explained how he made his old, gray-looking fence look new again by using this strange-sounding technique called, Power Washing using an electric pressure washer. I asked him, "What do I need to do to Power Wash my own fence? "An Electric Pressure Washer by Task Force" is what my neighbor told me. A Task Force Pressure Washer Model 2000 is sold for a little under $200 at Lowe's. Read the rest of this entry

Toro-Leaf-Blower
Toro Leaf Blower
Don't Blow it with the Wrong Leaf Blower
Who needs a Toro Leaf Blower? If ever there was a ratings contest for the greatest lazy-man's inventions, the Leaf Blower, along with paper shredders, has gotta rank right up there with the best. The Toro leaf blower was obviously invented when some lazy guy with a sore back was raking and picking up leaves, and a major gust of wind came along and conveniently blew all of his debris into his neighbor's yard. Thinking that was a heckuva lot easier (and faster), then doing it the old fashioned way with a rake and a broom, he decided he'd like that gust of wind to be always available where and when he wanted it. It's this kind of laziness that made America the great, inventive and industrialist nation that it is - and gave us the Toro leaf blower, to boot. Read the rest of this entry

Behr Colors
Behr Colors: Cement Stain
Behr Colors are not just for painting your house. Last summer I talked about the staining or painting a basement, garage floor or driveway with Behr Cement Stain.
Using Behr Colors
I raved about how even a klutz could make his driveway look like newly poured cement. I am also the klutz that began driving his car on it before it was fully cured. As for not researching stain paint hues or behr colors that might be better at concealing the wear and tear on a driveway, count me guilty as charged on that count too. Cement Painting is not easy and it requires some preparation. I thought it would be worth a follow up review on how my Behr Paint Stain (without regard to Behr Colors) or cement driveway paint job held up after 1 full winter of Colorado weather.
